Set on the scenic shores of New Fork Lakes, Camp New Fork offers an unforgettable experience for both staff and campers. As a staff member, you’ll spend your summer surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, fostering outdoor adventure and growth in a supportive, close-knit community.
Campers will join us for five-day sessions, and you’ll be actively involved in creating memorable, impactful experiences for them—whether through leading activities, teaching skills, or simply being a positive role model. With weekends off, you’ll have time to relax, explore the area, and recharge for the next week of fun.

Counseling staff are the heart of the camp experience, directly responsible for the well-being, safety, and enjoyment of campers. From morning to night, counselors are role models, leaders, and mentors who guide campers through daily activities and create a positive camp culture. Counseling staff job opportunities are as follows:
Junior Counselor (16+ years) Assist senior counselors in leading activities, supervising campers, and creating a fun, safe environment. Gain leadership experience and help shape positive camp experiences for young campers.
Counselor (18+ years) Lead and mentor campers, oversee daily activities, and ensure a safe, engaging experience. Counselors are role models who provide guidance and support throughout the camp session.

Our program staff have a skill they want to share and will be the front lines of our camp activities. They will spend their days designing and implementing our camp programs.
Program Staff: Climbing Instructor
Lead and supervise climbing activities, teach safety techniques, and ensure all campers enjoy a safe and rewarding climbing experience. Certification or experience in climbing is required.
Program Staff: Aquatics
Oversee waterfront activities such as swimming, ensuring safety and fun for all participants. Lifeguard certification required.
Program Staff: Canoe and Kayak
Lead canoeing and kayaking activities, teaching proper paddling techniques, water safety, and ensuring an exciting experience on the water. Previous experience in paddling and water sports preferred.

Support Staff: Maintenance
Help maintain the camp's grounds and facilities, ensuring everything is clean, safe, and functioning smoothly. Duties include repairs, upkeep of equipment, and general groundskeeping.
Support Staff: Kitchen
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals for campers and staff. Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and a positive dining experience in a fast-paced environment.
