Food At CNF

At Camp New Fork, we believe that great food is essential to a great camp experience. Under the guidance of a registered dietitian with extensive expertise in both culinary arts and camp kitchen management, we have carefully crafted a menu that is both nutritious and delicious. Our goal is to provide hearty, home-cooked meals that campers will love, ensuring they have the energy they need for each day’s adventures. Meals will be plentiful, and snacks will be available throughout the day to keep everyone fueled and ready for fun.

At least twice a day, campers will gather in our dining lodge to share meals family-style, fostering a sense of connection and reinforcing our core value of community. These shared meals are a time for reflection, storytelling, and camaraderie.

For days spent exploring, campers will pick up sack lunches before heading out on their adventures. Additionally, special meals will occasionally be held outside of the dining hall, whether it’s an all-camp barbecue, a dinner at one of our wilderness outposts, or a themed celebration under the stars.

  • We are committed to accommodating the dietary needs of all our campers. If your camper has specific dietary restrictions, allergies, or other food-related concerns, our team will work with you before the summer to develop a plan that ensures their needs are met. In the rare case that we are unable to provide a suitable accommodation, we will discuss this with you during the planning process.

At Camp New Fork, mealtime is more than just eating—it’s about coming together, sharing experiences, and building lasting memories.
