ADVENTURE BASE

Your Home Away From Home

Each adventure group will have its own designated campsite, known as an Adventure Base – a place to gather, recharge, and create lasting memories. Nestled among towering evergreens and framed by smooth, glacially carved rocks, these campsites are some of the finest in the West. Every Adventure Base is equipped with a fire ring, picnic tables, running water, and a private toilet. This will be your home during your time at Camp New Fork, serving as the meeting place for group discussions, activities, and moments of reflection.

Your day will begin with morning chores, including tidying up your campsite and wall tent, before setting off on the day's adventures.

LODGING

Wall Tents

All Adventure Bases feature canvas wall tents, offering an authentic wilderness experience similar to those used by outfitters across the West. These rustic yet comfortable tents are divided by gender and accommodate up to four campers. Each camper will have a mattress for added comfort, though you’ll need to bring your own sleeping bag. Tent assignments are carefully arranged to ensure the best possible experience for all campers.

Bathrooms and Showers

Camp New Fork provides private shower facilities, with designated times for each camper group throughout the week. All showers are individual, lockable, and feature hot water to ensure a comfortable experience.

Throughout camp, there are plenty of restroom facilities, including private outhouses, similar to those found in U.S. Forest Service campgrounds. While rustic, these facilities are well-maintained and designed to provide privacy and convenience.
