WELCOME TO CAMP NEW FORK
“I made the long journey over sage brush covered fields; while antelope ran across the road; and some refused to yield. I almost missed the road with the New Fork Lake sign, which led the way to the camp and its treasures so divine. I pulled up to the camp, yet no one did I see; just a couple of elk with inquisitive eyes staring back at me.”
Camp New Fork (CNF) is set in one of the most breathtaking locations in the country. Nestled along the southwest rim of the Wind River Range in western Wyoming, our camp is surrounded by pristine wilderness, towering pines, and crystal-clear mountain lakes. We are deeply grateful for this land and all the natural wonders it provides to those who spend their summers with us.
For decades, this area served as a cherished retreat for the Boy Scouts, who explored its rugged landscapes, forged lifelong friendships, and embraced the challenges of outdoor adventure. Today, CNF continues that legacy, offering a place where campers can connect with nature, test their limits, and create unforgettable memories.
The camp itself boasts a sprawling beachfront along New Fork Lakes, a small yet stunning alpine lake system. Beyond our shores, vast stretches of national forest invite exploration, with scenic hiking trails, rock climbing crags, and hidden lakes waiting to be discovered. Wildlife is a constant presence here—elk, deer, and other native species often wander through camp, pausing to drink from the lake or graze in the open meadows.
At Camp New Fork, the wilderness is our playground, and every summer is a new opportunity to explore, grow, and embrace the spirit of adventure.
