Did you know that New Fork Lake is home to brook, rainbow and lake trout as well as kokanee salmon? It is a wonderful place for a first time angler to learn the skills required to catch a keeper trout! First-time anglers will have the perfect opportunity to learn the basics and reel in their first keeper trout. For more experienced anglers, the program offers opportunities to refine their techniques and tackle larger waters. Campers can transition from spin rods to fly rods as they develop new skills at regular fly fishing seminars held on the beach. Older campers will even venture into the renowned Wind River Mountains in pursuit of the elusive Golden Trout, making for an unforgettable fishing adventure.
